It's odd you suggest ducks...Many (many) years ago, my wife and I thought about having a small-holding which would include some ducks. I admit it was more because we (I, mostly) am keen on roast duck. But now we have a furry, four-legged beastie, it's unlikely any of the ducks would make it to adulthood.

Have you considered ducks? My plot is tiny, so can not support fowl slug hunters!
